These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Cordon website and your subscription to our publication. The Cordon is operated by The Cordon, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

The service

The Cordon provides digital cricket journalism, including articles, essays and analysis. Some content is free and some is available only to paying members. We may add, change or remove content and features over time.

Memberships and payment

A membership gives you personal, non-transferable access to member content for the paid period.
Prices are shown on our website and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay's applicable terms.
Annual memberships are billed once for the year. Details of cancellations and refunds are set out in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

Your membership is for your personal use. You agree not to share your login, republish or redistribute paywalled content, or attempt to bypass the paywall or interfere with the website. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches.

Intellectual property

All content published by The Cordon — including text, images and design — is our property or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright. You may read and share links to our work, but you may not reproduce substantial parts without permission.

Availability

We work to keep the website available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for outages outside our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
